Join the Vinton County Chamber of Commerce for an old-fashioned Christmas celebration in downtown McArthur complete with m usic, giveaways, craft sale, discounts, door prizes, parade, horsedra wn wagon rides and more. This year’s theme is “A Civil War Ch ristmas,” commemorating its 150th anniversary. A parade will be held at 6 p.m., and Santa will be visiting with kids following theparade. Be sure to visit the library’s Festival of Trees and listenas Victorian carolers entertain with period music.
