IMPORTANT NOTICE

Due to the current economic situation, the Board of Trustees has chosen to park the bookmobile temporarily until further notice.  However, we have staff who can deliver materials to those unable to make it to the main library in McArthur.

Who is eligible to receive delivered materials?

If you are elderly, have a disability, or live a great distance from the main library and wish to receive library materials, we would be happy to locate the items and bring them to you the next time we’re in your neighborhood.

What do we offer?

The library offers books for children, teens, and adults as well as videos, DVDs, magazines, large print books and books on CD.

What do I need in order to check out materials?

In order to check out library materials, you must have a library card.  Library cards are free to patrons over the age of five.  Patrons 13 years and older applying for a library card must provide identification verifying current address, such as a driver’s license or recent mail received.  A parent or guardian must sign and be responsible for patrons between the ages of 5 and 12.  The fee for replacing a lost card is $1.00.  Library cards must be presented to check out materials.

For how long may I keep library materials that are delivered to me?

All delivered materials are due on the next schedule visit (approximately four weeks).  However, the schedule may change due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances. One renewal for a period of one month may be requested for all materials, except for high-demand titles.  Delivered materials may be returned to the main library as well.

Who do I contact if I have questions?
